Our flexible and accessible General Practice Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) Training Programme is designed by experienced General Practice Nurses (GPNs) and HCSWs. The programme is designed for those that are planning to work as an HCSW in General Practice for the first time or for those who are switching from another healthcare setting.
The course contains the Care Certificate Standards as developed by Skills for Health, NHS England and Skills for Care.
This online programme is an essential resource and it provides introductory level learning resources and self-assessment questionnaires across a range of topics. Included in the programme are two full-day workshops led by experienced facilitators, who will support your progression through the units. You must attend these ‘taught days’ in order to complete the course.
Upon successful completion, students are awarded with the Care Certificate Standards and a Certificate of Completion from Londonwide LMCs.
Please choose your preferred courses from the dates below (you must attend one ‘taught day 1’ and one ‘taught day 2’) and email email@example.com so that a place can be reserved for you on your chosen days. Each day is open to 15 Health Care Support Workers on a first come, first serve basis.
